The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has announced new measures during this Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) period for the local tourism business from May 16 to June 13.

These new rules are:

1. Operating capacity will be reduced to 25 per cent for attractions and cruises.

2. Indoor or outdoor shows, meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (Mice) events and live performances will allow up to 100 attendees with pre-event testing.

Those without the tests will allow up to 50 attendees.

3. Staycations will only allow two guests per hotel room, except where individuals are all from the same household.

No dining in is allowed at hotel food and beverage (F&B) establishments.

4. Tours will have 20 people per tour, split into 10 groups of a maximum of two people each.

Refunds, postponements and extensions

Those with hotel bookings between May 16 and June 13 may change their booking dates or request a refund, subject to terms and conditions.

Those who have used SingapoRediscovers vouchers for hotel bookings during this period can have the vouchers refunded.

The validity date of tickets for attractions and tours will also be extended.

Authorised booking partners or merchants will reach out to users to provide assistance.
