New Covid-19 cases in Malaysia have passed the 8,000-mark for the first time on Friday, May 28, with 8,290 infections, Reuters reported.
The country has recorded a new daily record for the fourth day in a row, surpassing 7,857 cases on May 27, according to The Star.
A total of 549,514 cases have been recorded in Malaysia thus far.
