The Ministry of Health (MOH) is conducting mandatory tests for residents of Block 506 Hougang Avenue 8, after a few Covid-19 cases were found to reside in that block.
The ministry did not provide further details about these cases.
The tests are conducted as a precautionary measure, said MOH.
Testing operations will be conducted at the void deck at Block 506 Hougang Avenue 8 on May 21 and May 22. MOH said that it has distributed leaflets to affected residents, and will also send them an SMS notification.
MOH also advised residents of Block 506 Hougang Avenue 8 to monitor their health closely and consult a doctor immediately if they feel unwell.
The block is near to Hougang Mall, which was visited by an infectious Covid-19 case on May 7.
