In light of the newly-implemented Covid-19 restriction that prohibits dining in from May 16 to June 13, many F&B establishments are offering takeaway and delivery options.
Hotels like Shangri-la Singapore and Conrad Centennial Singapore are also offering a range of food, including high tea sets, for guests to enjoy at home.
Three-tier high tea
Available from 12pm to 5pm, The Rose Veranda High Tea Takeaway Set (S$68 nett) caters to two people.
In addition to vanilla and rose-infused scones served with strawberry jam and clotted cream, the set has 11 other sweet and savoury items.
The savoury line-up includes:
- The Rose Veranda Signature Sandwiches
- Strawberry Lobster Slaw Sandwich
- Classic Egg and Ham with Truffle Pressed Panini
- Foie Gras Tart with Granny Smith Apple and Candied Ginger
- Tian of Avocado, Chicken Aioli and Caramelized Peach
While desserts are:
- Strawberry Yuzu Roulade
- La Pomme Rouge
- Litchi Raspberry Choux
- Rose Crème Brûlée Tart
- Jasmine Macaroons
- Tahitian Mascarpone Canelé
Those with allergies should note that the high-tea set contains nuts, dairy, egg, gluten, and shellfish.
Pick up your orders in person from Shophouse by Shangri-La (located at the hotel’s Tower Wing lobby), or collect them from the hotel driveway without leaving your vehicles.
Islandwide delivery is also available at S$20 nett per location, and delivery is free for purchases above S$200 nett.

Self pick-up orders must be placed at least 30 minutes in advance, while delivery orders must be placed at least 90 mins in advance with a delivery lead time of two hours.

Flower-themed afternoon tea
If you have a higher budget, the Language of Flowers Afternoon Tea (S$85.60) by Conrad Centennial Singapore is another option.
Available from 11:30am to 8pm until July 5, 2021, this set is suitable for two as well.
Besides the raisin scone and plain scone served with strawberry jam and clotted cream, the set comes with an assortment of snacks that are represented by different flowers.
- Rose: Macaron, rose butter cream, lychee, and raspberry
- Lavender: Hazelnut dacquoise, lavender crémeux, earl grey mousse and pâte sablée
- Jasmine: Slow cooked pearl rice mousse with biscuit
- Mimosa: Mango chantilly, passion fruit jus, vanilla sponge
- Rosella: Lemon mustard roasted chicken sandwich, cream cheese, cucumber
- Blue pea: Goat cheese, chives, unfiltered olive oil, himalayan black salt
- Cucumber flowers: Taramasalata puff
- Marigolds orange: Candied orange, sous-vide duck, cream cheese sandwich
Guests can pick up their orders in person from The Terrace at the Conrad Centennial Singapore, located at the hotel’s lobby level.
According to our observation, the delivery fee, which appears to be distanced-based, stretches from S$12 to the high end of S$20+.
Complimentary island wide delivery is available with a minimum spend of S$100 nett (excluding gated or restricted areas/zones).
