1 new locally-transmitted Covid-19 case in S'pore on May 5, 2021

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 16 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore on Wednesday (May 5).

This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 61,268.

Based on MOH's investigations so far, one case is in the community, and there are no new cases in the dormitories.

The sole community case is not linked to the Case 62541 cluster at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

There are 15 imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.
