Covid-19: 27 community cases in S’pore on May 20, 6 unlinked

The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore has reached 61,730.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 41 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12pm on May 20, 2021.

This brings the total number of cases to 61,730.

There are 27 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection, of whom 21 are linked to previous cases.

Six of them are unlinked.

Amongst the locally transmitted cases, 15 had already been placed on quarantine earlier.

MOH said that there are no new cases in the dormitories.

In addition, there are 14 imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Of these, 10 are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs).
