34 Covid-19 community cases in S'pore on May 19, 4 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 38 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12 pm on May 19, 2021.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 61,689.

There are 34 new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection, of whom 30 are linked to previous cases.

Four of the cases are currently unlinked.

Amongst them, 28 had already been placed on quarantine earlier.

MOH said that there are no new cases in the dormitories.

In addition, there are four imported cases, who had already been placed on stay-home notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Of these, three are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Resident (PRs).
