The Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed 23 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12pm on May 31, 2021.

There are 16 locally-transmitted cases today. No new cases were reported in the dormitories.

Out of the 16 community cases, 13 are linked to previous cases while three remain unlinked.

The other seven cases are imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

New locations as of May 31

MOH regularly updates a list of public places visited by confirmed Covid-19 cases for a period over 30 minutes while they were infectious.

There are 10 new locations added to the list on May 31 and they have been highlighted in the list below.

Some locations include the Resorts World Sentosa Casino, the Sri Murugan Hill Temple, and another NTUC Foodfare at 476D Upper Serangoon View.

Amongst the new locations, the Resorts World Sentosa Casino, the NTUC Foodfare at Upper Serangoon View, and a Health Management Centre at French Road were visited multiple times respectively.

MOH said those who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit as a precautionary measure.

They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.

Individuals may access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service via the TraceTogether App or SingPass Mobile to check whether they were at these locations during the specified timings, based on their own SafeEntry records.

There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been, said MOH.

The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.
