52 new Covid-19 infections in S'pore on May 14, 24 from community

13 new cases are linked to the Changi Airport cluster.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 52 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore on May. 14.

This brings the total number of cases to 61,505.

There are 24 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection, who are in the community.

20 of them are linked to previous cases. Out of the 20, 13 are linked to the Changi Airport cluster.

Amongst the community cases, 16 had already been placed on quarantine earlier.

There are also 28 imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

Of the 28 imported cases, 19 are returning Singaporeans or Permanent Residents.

There are no new cases in the dormitories.

Further updates will be shared by MOH later this evening.
