16 locally-transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore on May 31, 3 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 23 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12pm on May 31.

This brings the total number of cases to 62,051.

There are 16 new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection, of whom 13 are linked to previous cases.

Amongst the 13 cases, 11 had already been placed on quarantine earlier and two were detected through surveillance.

The remaining three cases are currently unlinked.

No new cases were reported in the dormitories today.

In addition, there are seven imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore. Of these, four are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
