In a random corner of the west is Big Big Fries' latest outlet, which started operations in late-April.

The homegrown brand made its name with extra long fries and bottled mentaiko sauce in Chomp Chomp Food Centre.

However, the new cafe at NEWest Mall sells more than fries and finger food. You'll also find:

• Beef cubes (S$13/150g)
• Mentai tamago (Japanese rolled omelette, S$5)
• Pan-ffles (a pancake/waffle mix, S$6)
• Ice cream (S$4/single, S$7.50/double)

The 25cm-long fries start from S$7.90, dressed with sauces like Himalayan Pink Salt, Nacho Cheese, Seaweed Mayonnaise, Truffle Mayonnaise (S$1), and Mentaiko Mayonnaise (+S$1).

There's  also a new, outlet-exclusive sauce called the BBF special (+S$1) — a sweet and tangy house made sauce topped with pork floss, according to the BBF folks.

Dining in at F&B establishments is not allowed from May 16 - June 18, so you will have to get your food delivered or to go.
