It's that time of the year again, when a financial expert bestows (hopefully) good fortune on you and your family.

No, not Chinese New Year, but the annual Budget Statement.

What's next after a blockbuster year?

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, there were multiple Budgets throughout the year to help support struggling businesses and families.

While we are nowhere near close to a return to normality, there is hope on the horizon with vaccines beginning to be rolled out.

But after a staggering S$92.9 billion was committed to the government's pandemic response across four Budgets, and with no general election slated for 2021, it doesn't seem likely that there will be a spending spree this year.

To keep an eye on what Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat will announce in this year's Budget, here are all the ways you can tune in:

MOF is also partnering the Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf) to provide simultaneous sign language interpretation of the Budget Speech on the Singapore Budget website and Channel 5.

After the speech

You've listened to the speech, taking place on Feb. 16, 2021 at 3:00pm.

You've even signed up to receive the full Budget Statement from MOF via email, a service which will be available until 2:00pm on Feb. 15, 2021.

You have a lot of thoughts, and wish to share them with the government.

But how?

There are actually lots of different ways to do so, and the government is eager to hear from you. You can submit feedback online at the following links:

There will be physical Listening Points set up around the country for you to drop in and give feedback in person.

The People's Association (PA) and grassroots organisations will also organise dialogue sessions where residents can share their views. You can sign up at this link, available until Feb. 26, 2021 at 2:00pm.

Of course, due to Covid-19, plans can change at any time, so look out for updates.

Speaking of Covid-19, one of the ministerial task force heads, Education Minister Lawrence Wong, will be hosting a virtual Budget conversation in English on Feb. 19, 2021.

This is part of the ongoing SG Together Emerging Stronger Conversations. Trade and Industry Minister Chan Chun Sing will be hosting the Mandarin Budget conversation on Feb. 20, 2021. Both sessions will also be attended by REACH chairman and Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, Tan Kiat How.

Chime in with your thoughts, views, kudos and gripes, and give the government something to think about for 2022.
