Another day another scam.

A woman had a rude shock when she received her shopping item, purchased from Shopee, reported Stomp.

Didn't receive what she ordered

The woman, named Huanmin, bought a water spray gun for car-washing from the e-commerce site Shopee on January 21.

She paid S$98.57 for it.

The parcel arrived fairly quickly two days, later but technically, it wasn't what she ordered:

She told Stomp that her parcel was an A5-sized envelope, which puzzled her.

"I received the parcel and to my horror, it was an A5-sized envelope. How can a car wash spray be fitted into an A5 envelope?"

She later opened the envelope and found — to her horror — a mere photograph of the spray-gun that she ordered.

Huanmin has submitted an appeal for a refund.
