An 18-year-old was found dead outside 1 Raffles Place on Tuesday (Jan. 5) night.
Pronounced dead on scene
Responding to queries from Mothership, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that they received a call for assistance at 1 Raffles Place at about 9:30pm on Jan. 5.
A person was pronounced dead on scene by an SCDF paramedic.
An eyewitness told CNA that he saw an SCDF ambulance and several police officers in the area.
He also saw a body on the ground and the police later cordoned off the area.
Unnatural death
The police told Mothership that they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at about 9:28pm that day.
An 18-year-old male teenager was found lying motionless at the foot of the said location and was pronounced dead at scene by a paramedic, said police.
Police investigations are ongoing.
