What a bountiful harvest.

Oh, the perils of a slow internet connection.

A 7-year-old girl in Cebu, The Philippines, ended up with 42 of the same orders delivered by Foodpanda riders after she repeatedly tapped on the order button in the app.

The girl only wanted two boxes of chicken fillets with fries from McDonald's for herself and her grandmother.

Photos and a live video of the hilarious incident were posted by Facebook user Dann Kayne Suarez on November 25.

According to him, the girl managed to log a successful order after 42 tries, but didn't know that the previous orders went through as well.

It appears that the multiple orders were logged because of poor internet connection and a glitchy app, according to his Facebook post.

Look at this bountiful harvest of McDonald's chicken fillet:

The alley outside the poor girl's house was choked full of Foodpanda riders:

According to AsiaOne, the girl would have had to pay 7,938 pesos (S$220.55) for all the orders, which she didn't have enough money for. However help was just round the corner. When her neighbours found out what happened, they chipped in to help buy the chicken fillets off her hands.

Here's a video of the encounter:
