Willing Hearts is a charity kitchen that prepares and distributes thousands of meals daily to needy people in Singapore.

Their beneficiaries include the elderly, persons with disabilities, low-income families, and migrant workers.

With more people being affected by Covid-19 pandemic, the meals that the charity has to prepare have increased significantly.

Before Covid-19 pandemic, the charity prepares about 6,500 meals daily.

Currently, Willing Hearts has to prepare about 9,000 meals daily.

In a Facebook post on Oct. 5, Willing Hearts did a shout out calling for rice donations as their inventory is running low.

They also called for more volunteers to help pack food.

They said they are particularly short-handed at 5am on weekdays, and will need more volunteers to step forward during this time slot.
