Man, 33, injured in Serangoon Rd knife attack, police appeal for information about other man

Both men were seen in a heated argument before the attack happened.

On Oct. 8, 2020, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) were alerted to a case at 525 Serangoon Road where a 33-year-old man was injured after being attacked by another man with a knife at 1:30am.

According to SPF, the 33-year-old man suffered injuries on his left arm and was conscious when he was conveyed to Singapore General Hospital.

The attacker and the victim were engaged in a heated argument prior to the attack.

Police are looking for the man shown in the images below to assist with investigations into the case:

Photo with police tents seen online

In a Facebook post by SG Chinese Community, a photo of a scene along Serangoon Road was uploaded on Oct. 8.

In the photo, three police officers and three police tents are seen.

A spokesperson told Mothership that the scene in the photo is related to the knife attack and that the tents were not to cover bodies as speculated.
