Apple fans can look forward to new iPhones being launched in October 2020.

According to leaks about the iPhone 12, the new Apple devices could see major updates, with changes to the current design, reported Macrumours.

There could be four new iPhones with three different display sizes, including 5.4 inches, 6.7 inches, and 6.1 inches.

New A14 Bionic mobile chip

With an improvement in performance from the new A14 Bionic mobile chip, the iPhone 12 could become "the fastest phone on the planet", according to Macrumours.

The same chip is expected to be used in both the iPhone 12 and the new iPad Air that will be available this month.

Macrumours reported that the performance of the A14 Bionic chip in the iPhone 12 could make it faster than all Android phones.

Other than the A14 chip and improved performance, the new iPhones will allegedly have 5G connectivity.

It is also rumoured that the Pro versions could have a better camera and AR performance as they could feature the LiDAR sensor.

According to a leak on the pricing, the basic iPhone 12 model with 64GB of storage could be cheaper than the iPhone 11 and cost U$649 (S$883), reported Macrumours.

The pricing for Pro models could start from U$999 (S$1,359), and cost up to U$1,399 (S$1,904) for the 512GB iPhone 12 Pro Max.
