From Oct. 17, visitors to Sentosa's beaches will be required to book their entry in advance, during peak periods of weekends and public holidays.

This applies to three beaches: Tanjong, Palawan, and Siloso.

Sentosa said that the procedure is part of their efforts to enhance guest experience and safety, and also aims to reduce queues and waiting times.

The advance booking system will be trialled for three months, after which the necessary adjustments will be made, based on guest feedback and behaviour.

How to book

The beaches have been segmented into seven zones, each with a capacity limit of 100 to 350.

You can make your bookings on Sentosa's site, up to seven days in advance.

This means that bookings will be accepted from Oct. 10, for visits starting on Oct. 17.

Choose from two time slots: morning (8am – 1pm), or afternoon (2pm – 7pm).

Each booking can reserve up to five spots.

Upon successful booking, you will receive an email confirming the selected beach zone and time slot.

On the day of the visit, present your confirmation email at the Beach Entry Kiosk of your selected zone.

You'll then get a wristband for admission anytime during your time slot.

If you will not be visiting after making a booking, Sentosa reminds you to cancel the reservation so that other guests can visit.

You can enter the beach on weekdays without advance reservation, subject to the capacity limits.
