Prices range from S$2.50 to S$4.80.

The foundation of all beverages are based on three types of tea: Green Jade (light-bodied green tea), Mount Wu (medium-bodied oolong), and Red Phoenix (full-bodied red tea).

The brand's pink "cloud" topping is made from cream cheese, pink Himalayan salt, and a touch of beetroot for colour.

Some interesting items we spotted were the Strawberry Pink Cloud (S$4.60), Dragonfruit Slushie (S$4.80), Grapefruit Green Jade (S$4.80), and Tea Jelly in Fresh Milk (S$3.50).

The Pop series, which is carbonated, stands out as well.

Toppings are S$0.50 - S$0.60, and includes pearls, pink cloud, chia seeds, tea jelly, and fruit bits (e.g. mango, yuzu pulp).

For takeaway options, the pearls and cream cheese clouds come separated from the drink, and you can add them in when you're ready to consume it.

This prevents the cloud from sinking, and the pearls from changing texture.

Pastries and sweets

Pair your drink with both sweet and savoury bakes, curated from BreadTalk's other concepts.

Exclusive to Charlie Tea is a range of 12 danishes, such as the Mango Danish, Sausage Danish, and Creamy Chicken Danish.

These are decidedly crisp, and land on the extreme end of flakey.

One-for-one drinks

To celebrate its opening, Charlie Tea is having a one-for-one for its selected beverages from Sep. 9 - 11, 2020.

Choose from the Pure Tea, Cloud Tea, Pop Tea and Milk Tea series for this promotion.
