A 44-year-old man will be charged in court for using criminal force and voluntarily causing hurt.
The police were alerted to a case of dispute at a hawker centre at 45 Quality Road on February 5, 2020.
During the dispute, the man allegedly threw his plate of food at a cleaner, and pushed her, causing her to fall.
The man will be charged on August 5.
The offence of using criminal force under Section 352 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 carries an imprisonment term of up to three months, or a fine of up to S$1,500, or both.
The offence of voluntary causing hurt under Section 323 of the Penal Code carries an imprisonment term of up to three years, or with fine of up to S$5,000, or both.
