Johor Bahru mall wishes Happy National Day to S'pore, says it misses S'poreans

It has been a long while since Singaporeans have been to Malaysia due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with daily commuting unlikely to resume just yet.

And just as much as Singaporeans miss a quick getaway to Johor Bahru, it seems like at least one mall there misses us too.

On Aug. 9, R&F Mall Johor Bahru put out a Facebook post wishing Singapore a happy National Day.

As part of the wish, the mall said: "Stay safe, bro. We shall meet again soon."

In addition to that wish, the mall also attached a few photos of the mall with what seems to be some Photoshopped banners with a cheeky message.

Guess the feeling is mutual. :(

For the uninitiated, R&F Mall is a relatively new shopping centre in Johor Bahru that opened in 2019.

The mall is just a kilometre away from the Johor Bahru Checkpoint.
