It was previously reported that two highly-anticipated movies "Mulan" and "Tenet" had been indefinitely postponed.

In a latest report by Vox on Aug. 5, Disney has announced that "Mulan" will be released on their streaming service on Sept. 4.

However, there is a catch. Subscribers will have to pay US$29.99 (S$41.13) to rent the movie.

This is on top of a monthly subscription fee of at least US$6.99 a month.

International release

For countries without Disney+, and that includes Singapore, Disney intends to release the film in theatres.

Disney had already previously announced that "Mulan" will be released in theatres on Aug. 20.

Just last week, Warner Bros. announced that the other much awaited movie "Tenet" will be released internationally before it is released in the U.S.

According to the Golden Village website, Tenet is slated for release in Singapore on Aug. 27.
