According to the woman named Myra, this packet in particular was purchased on July 21, at a Sheng Siong outlet at Blk 182 Woodlands Street 13.

She had bought two packets on the same day, and had thrown both away. She did not open the second packet.

Myra also said that she was given a refund of the product and was in touch with Sheng Siong staff regarding the matter. She added that the Sheng Siong staff apologised.

Supplier notified

In response to Mothership's queries, a Sheng Siong spokesperson shared on Aug. 7 that they had immediately notified their supplier about the product.

The supplier has brought the affected product back for investigations.

The spokesperson also said that a refund was made for the customer when the item was taken to the store.
