In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival this year, Lady M, a cake boutique known for their Mille Crêpes, will be launching a collectible, limited-edition mooncake lantern.

The mooncake lantern is in collaboration with Netflix and Pearl Studio's animated musical, "Over The Moon" which will be released on Netflix in the later part of 2020.

In the animated musical, a girl builds a rocket ship to go to the moon, hoping to meet a mythical moon goddess.

The gold and jade lantern is inspired by Over The Moon and features laser-cut imagery of characters and scenes from the film.

When the lantern is lit up, the characters and scenes are illuminated.

Comes with six Lady M mooncakes

Each lantern contains six individually-wrapped Lady M mooncakes, designed with Kee Wah Bakery.

The mooncakes are available in two flavours, sweet egg custard which is stamped with the Lady M logo and chocolate custard which is stamped with an image of the moon rabbit.

Each lantern includes three of each mooncake flavour.

Available for pre-order on Aug. 11

Lady M's collectible 2020 Mooncake Lantern, priced at S$99, will be packaged in a Lady M mooncake gift bag and comes with a greeting card, instruction card and envelope.

It is available for pre-order online from Aug. 11, 2020. It is available for delivery or pick-up from Sept. 1.

The lanterns will also be available at Lady M boutiques from Sept. 1, while stocks last.
