To celebrate National Day, Ichiban Sushi has launched a series of sushi creations inspired by Singapore's local dishes.
This includes Nasi Lemak Sushi, Chilli Crab Maki, Chicken Rice Maki, Popiah Roll with Aburi Salmon and Chye Poh Hikiniku Maki.
Here is a description of the dishes and their prices:
The Chilli Crab Maki (S$6) comprises of soft shell crab tempura, chilli crab sauce, baby asparagus, fried crab stick strips and chilli padi.
The Chye Poh Hikiniku Maki (S$3.20) is made of minced pork, preserved salted radish with spicy sauce, egg crepe, flying fish roe and spring onion.
The Popiah Roll with Aburi Salmon (S$4.20) comprises of vegetable spring roll, shiitake mushroom, garlic chilli oil, salmon roe, mayonnaise and seared salmon.
The Nasi Lemak Sushi (S$3.20) is made of silver anchovy, quail egg, peanut, cucumber and sambal chilli.
The Chicken Rice Maki (S$3.20) is made of chicken with ginger and chilli paste, cucumber, cherry tomato and young ginger.
Available for a limited time
The dishes are available from now till Aug. 23 for both dine-in and takeaway at Ichiban Sushi and Ichiban Boshi outlets. Do note that there may be a waiting time of 15 to 20 minutes for your order.
