Gardens by the Bay's Cloud Forest reopens on Aug. 6, free admission for nurses this month

All tickets must be purchased online as physical ticketing counters will not be open.

Gardens by the Bay will be reopening its Cloud Forest on Thursday, August 6, 2020, joining the Gardens' other conservatory, the Flower Dome, which is already opened.

Singapore residents can enjoy a National Day offer, which allows unlimited entry to the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome for the price of a single day ticket.

Practicing nurses in Singapore will enjoy complimentary entry to Cloud Forest and Flower Dome during the month of August.

6 months unlimited visits to Cloud Forest & Flower Dome for S$20

For adults aged 13 to 59 years old, you can purchase Purchase a Two-Conservatory (Flower Dome and Cloud Forest) Singapore Resident Admission Ticket at S$20 to enjoy unlimited visits to Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, as well as unlimited rides on Shuttle Service for six months until February 7, 2021.

For seniors (aged 60 and above), you can enjoy the same deal at S$15, while a ticket costs S$12 for children.

The special ticketing promotion will run from August 3, 2020 to August 31, 2020.

As physical ticketing counters will not be open, visitors will have to purchase tickets from either the Gardens by the Bay’s website or their mobile app, which is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Practicing nurses in S'pore will enjoy free entry for the month of August

As a tribute to nurses for their work during the Covid-19 pandemic, all practising nurses in Singapore will enjoy complimentary entry into the two conservatories at Gardens by the Bay for the whole month of August.

Nurses can enter the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome by showing a valid Singapore Nursing Board practising certificate card at the entrance of the conservatories.

Cloud Forest's first-ever full-scale art exhibition

When Cloud Forest reopens on August 6, 2020, visitors will enjoy a full-scale art exhibition, featuring works from Taiwanese artist Lee Kuang-Yu.

The showcase of his sculptures, called "A Sculptor’s Secret Garden", will be found at various parts of the Cloud Forest.

These sculptures were transported from Lee's studio and garden in the mountains of Xizhi in Taipei, to be exhibited in Gardens by the Bay.

Health and safety measures at Gardens by the Bay

To ensure the health and safety of visitors at Gardens by the Bay, visitors must pre-book their timed-entry tickets online via the Gardens by the Bay website or mobile app.

In addition, the following measures will also be in place:

  • Temperature screening
  • Safe distancing of 1 metre and floor markers to guide people in complying
  • Automatic entry and exit doors
  • Self-disinfecting coating on commonly touched surfaces like lift buttons and escalator railings
  • Sanitisation of public amenities like toilets every hour
  • Hand sanitisers available at all entrances, exits and high contact areas
  • Equipping the air-chilling system in Cloud Forest and Flower Dome with high performance germicidal Ultra Violet (C) emitters similar to those used in healthcare institutions to improve air quality

Visitors will also have to comply with prevailing Covid-19 guidelines, including wearing of masks, not gathering in groups of more than five people, and observing a safe distance of 1 metre from other visitors.
