The 2020 National Day Parade (NDP) mobile column had travelled along five routes across Singapore between 10am to 1 pm.

The mobile column features 66 assets from the Singapore Army, the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the Singapore Police Force (SPF).

Along the Northern Route at Marsiling, onlookers were cheering and waving their flags at the SPF's vehicles and motorcycles passing by.

But what caused the loudest cheers of all was a cheeky Foodpanda deliveryman on his motorbike.

He was following the contingent on its tail-end and waved cheekily at the onlookers as if he was part of the contingent.

Cheers and laughter from the onlookers could be heard.

Mothership.sg reader Tong Chen Hao, who shared the footage, said that food delivery personnel should be celebrated as the unsung heroes Singaporeans deserve, as they too put in a lot of hard work, especially during the circuit breaker period.
