The National Day Parade (NDP) 2020 this year will be broadcast from The Star Performing Arts Centre at Star Vista with around 150 spectators in attendance.
In addition, it was announced that 10 different locations in the heartlands will enjoy views of the fireworks.
The exact words are: "Heartland fireworks: Enjoy the finale at 10 different locations."
Firework locations
While the exact locations have not been revealed, we can try and pinpoint areas in which the public can catch a glimpse of the fireworks, based on a map provided.
Also, we're assuming the fireworks graphics on the map indicate where they will be launched, and are not merely there for decorative purposes.
For starters, residents living near Chua Chu Kang, Marsiling, Sembawang and Yishun will likely have a view of the fireworks.
In the North-East, residents staying around Sengkang may also be able to see the fireworks.
Residents living near Ang Mo Kio, Paya Lebar and Bedok may also have a view of the fireworks.
The same goes for residents living near Marine Parade, and maybe Kallang.
Residents living near Jurong West and Bukit Panjang will likely also be able to view the fireworks.
Do note that as the exact locations have not been revealed, these are just estimates of where you may be able to spot the fireworks for yourself.
Mothership has contacted the NDP organising team for more information.
