295 new Covid-19 cases in S'pore on Aug. 4, 1 is a S'porean

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 295 Covid-19 in Singapore, as of 12pm on Tuesday (August 4).

This brings the total number of cases to 53,346.

The vast majority are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

There are two cases in the community.

One is a Singaporean and the other is a Work Pass holder.

There are also seven new imported cases who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arriving in Singapore.

Further updates will be shared by MOH in the evening.
