The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 307 cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore, as of Aug. 1.

The vast majority are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

The total number of cases stand at 52,512.

Of the 307, one is a case detected in the community, who is a Singaporean.

There are also five new imported cases who have been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arriving in Singapore.

Further updates will be shared by MOH in the evening.
