The 43 flavours will be in rotation till Aug. 31, with 16 flavours available at any one time.
A single scoop goes for S$5, and a double scoop S$9.
While Chicken Rice, Chendol, Huat Ah!, Tau Huay Zui, Muah Chee, and Chee Cheong Fun are returning flavours, a number on the list, such as Honeydew Sago, Chempedak, Kueh Dadar, Rojak, and Salted Egg Cereal flavours are new creations.
Besides individual scoops, Butterknife Folk has also come up with a few ice cream sets.
Mini Cone Trio (S$5)
The Mini Cone Trio allows you to choose three flavours for sampling.
The concept stems from sharing a hawker centre spread with friends or family (in pre-Covid times), where you'll get to eat a little bit of everything.
The Singapore Special — A six-cup gift set (S$30)
The six flavours in this set are:
- Chicken Rice
Made with a base of rice milk and chicken stock that has been simmered with aromatics. Expect notes of ginger, garlic, pandan and specially prepared chicken rice grains. Thick dark soy sauce and chicken rice chili are swirled into the gelato base.
- Rojak
Ginger flower-scented green apple and cucumber gelato with swirls of rojak sauce, speckled
with crushed peanuts and you char kway (dough sticks).
- Kueh Dadar
Flavours of soft fragrant pandan crepes are churned into gelato and swirled with a gula melaka coconut filling, finished with a touch of sea salt.
- Kopi Gao
Made with beans from Lam Yeo Coffee Powder Factory in Balestier — one of Singapore’s last remaining family-run coffee roaster businesses that specialises in traditionally roasted local Singaporean coffee blends.
- Chendol
Rich and creamy coconut gula Melaka gelato packed with green pandan chendol jellies, sweetened red beans, and attap chee.
- Huat Ah!
A rendition of the open-faced pineapple tart, this dessert is made with chunks of buttery shortcrust pastry and homemade chewy jam.
Each cup is 125ml.
Take-home pack (S$19)
The take-home pack is 475ml, available for both in-store purchases and islandwide delivery.
Delivery costs a flat rate of S$8 islandwide, but is free for orders S$57 and above.
The Singapore Special can be delivered as well.
