The project, launched by Jenniebar, is a show of support for Jennie as part of the anniversary of Blackpink's debut.
Jenniebar took to Twitter on Aug. 4 to share details regarding the project and revealed that photos for Jennie's debut anniversary will be featured on the satellite.
The Ladybug-1 Satellite will orbit the earth on Aug. 8, 2020, exactly four years after the Korean girl group debuted on Aug. 8, 2016.
The fansite added that a recording of the project will be released.
