Old-school steamboat eatery, 2nd Mini Steamboat Delight, has closed down for good.
The restaurant at Novena Gardens put up a sign that said its lease had run out and the place will be closed from July 1, 2020.
It also thanked its customers for 33 years of support.
Its closure occurred in the midst of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The Novena outlet had been operating for decades and was a familiar sight for church goers there.
The eatery is known for its own chilli sauce concoction, as well as its fried seafood pancake.

Other outlet
There is currently another outlet, Parkway Mini Steamboat, located along Tanjong Katong Road and is still in operation.
It was established in 1987.
This branch was originally located at the Parkway Parade basement food court.
It then moved to the fourth floor of the Banquet Food Court in Parkway Parade.
It subsequently moved to the HDB Hub in Toa Payoh, before settling in Katong.
