The Ministry of Education (MOE) has announced the school calendar, vacations and scheduled holidays for 2021.

This applies to primary and secondary schools, junior colleges (JCs) and Millenia Institute (MI).

School terms/semesters

According to a press release by MOE, the school year for primary and secondary students will begin on Monday Jan. 4, and end on Friday, Nov. 19.

JC and MI year one students will start on Friday, Jan. 29 and and on Friday, Nov. 26.

MI year twos, on the other hand, will begin on Monday, Jan. 11 and end on Friday, Nov. 26.

Meanwhile, the JC year twos and MI year threes will start school on Monday, Jan. 11 till the end of their A-level exams.
