A Singaporean man recently completed his driving lessons at Bukit Batok Driving Centre.

He then received his outstanding balance in his account from the driving centre via a cheque that was mailed to him.

1-cent cheque leaves Singaporean man "speechless"

The 37-year-old Hidayat Bin Hassan shared this amusing incident, which left him speechless, on his Facebook.

Those who learn how to drive at driving schools will have to book their lessons in advance.

Some might end up using fewer lessons than expected, meaning that the outstanding balance in their account from the bookings will be returned to the students.

In this case, it seems like Hidayat only had one cent left in his account.

Many who came across his Facebook post were amused by this cheque.

One pointed out that the cheque is probably worth more than the amount it can be cashed in for.
