The Singapore Flyer will reopen on Thursday, July 23, with a special promotion of up to 54 per cent off on tickets for Singapore residents during August 2020.

According to its operator Straco Leisure, from Aug. 1 to 31, Singapore residents can enjoy an exclusive rate of S$55 nett for a group of four (including one child) on the Singapore Flight.

The usual price is S$33 nett for an adult, and S$21 nett for a child.

Guests will have to make an advance reservation

The Giant Observation Wheel will operate on Thursday to Sunday, as well as public holidays, from 3pm to 9pm.

Visits will be limited to five guests per group.

Guests will be required to make an advance reservation via Singapore Flyer's website and pre-select their date of visit and entry time, and ticketing counters will remain temporarily closed.

According to Straco Leisure, Singapore Flyer will also reduce its operating capacity significantly for safe distancing purposes.

Each capsule will only host no more than seven persons at a time, and after each rotation, guest-occupied capsules will be disinfected before the next group boards.

Other safe management measures, such as mandatory SafeEntry check-in and out, safe distancing markers, regular cleaning and disinfection of premises and high-touch areas, and temperature screening are also in place.

The Singapore Flyer has been closed to guests since April 7, when Singapore entered circuit breaker mode.
