The opposition Singapore Democratic Alliance got creative this election season with its campaign posters in the Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC.

Instead of featuring images of its five candidates, the party offered graphics.

The posters caught the eye of many who took to forums and social media to talk about them and their effectiveness.

Post-GE2020, SDA is letting anyone take home its election posters for any amount they like.

In a Facebook post announcing the party's open house and appreciation event for supporters on July 18 and 19, SDA said it is giving away the posters and any payment is acceptable to defray the cost of running for elections:

The party wrote:

A lot of requests have been received for our campaign posters and the public found then to be highly creative and they stood out from other parties and wanted to buy them.

We have decided to merchandise and sell them for any amount offered to offset the high costs incurred in these elections on a "Pay as you wish, Take as you Like!"

SDA also said light refreshments will be served at the two-day event and candidates and other party officials will be on site to mingle, take photos and sign autographs too.

SDA won 23.67 per cent of votes, People's Voice got 12.18 per cent and PAP got 64.15 per cent.
