34 more reverse vending machines have been added across Singapore, according to a recent update by the National Environment Agency.
In addition to the existing 16 vending machines, there are 50 such machines in total islandwide.

At these vending machines, people can be rewarded with vouchers for contributing empty plastic bottles and aluminium cans.
The vending machines have received an overwhelming response from the public since its debut, so much so that the machines were overworked at the start of this year.
For every 10 empty bottles and cans deposited, people can get to choose rewards such as CapitaLand malls e-vouchers or deals, ActiveSG credit and Sentosa Fun Pass Tokens.
For every 20 empty drink containers, people can receive S$0.20 FairPrice discount coupon as well.
Where to find these recycling machines?
The reverse vending machines are conveniently placed at shopping malls, community centres and supermarkets.
