Dear voters of Potong Pasir,

I wish to start by thanking Potong Pasir residents for giving me the opportunity to serve as your MP since 2011. Together, we have transformed Potong Pasir. I also like to welcome our new residents into our Potong Pasir family.

This election is about caring for our 3 generations of residents in our estate.

To our young, I say: Dream big and pursue your passions!

I want our young residents to grow up in a neighbourhood that is equipped with everything they need from tuition lessons to holiday enrichment activities and many more.

To our middle age residents, I say: Don’t worry! We will create ample programmes for you and your families. We will always be here for you.

To our seniors, I say: Age well and live happily! I want our elderly to have their healthcare needs met and live fulfilling golden years.

We have the team, capability and passion to make Potong Pasir better.

In You We Trust, In Us You Trust

On 10 July, we will all have a decision to make when we mark the box on our ballot papers.

Our journey towards a better tomorrow will begin with the choices we make on Election Day.

When I started my journey in Potong Pasir a couple of years ago, my sole aim was to try and help as many people as I could.

I did not ask for your vote but I asked to be your friend.

Because friends help each other out.

Thank you all for letting me into your hearts and your homes.

This elections will be important for Singapore, as all elections are.

We can either opt for status quo, or we can choose to look forward to a new dawn.

What is the kind of Singapore we aim to leave for our children and grandchildren?

Can we allow a Parliament without diverse voices devoid of difficult debate?

Singapore and Singaporeans are best served through political competition.

Your choice on 10 July will determine the kind of future we build.

If you believe that we can make Potong Pasir SMC a special town, then I need you to journey with me.

Not just from Potong Pasir, but residents in Joo Seng, Bidadari, Sennett Estate, Woodleigh, Tai Seng.

You have a voice.

Let yourselves be heard.

Thank you all so much, for this privilege to have served you and your families.

We have a lot of work ahead of us, and this is just the beginning.

Thank you.
