A one-year-old boy was among three people who were taken to hospital after a hit-and-run accident along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Monday (July 6).
A loud bang was heard
An eyewitness told Mothership that she heard a loud bang from the road that evening, and within 15 minutes, an ambulance arrived.
She also spotted at least two police cars and a tow truck.
According to CNA, the accident occurred between the PIE exits 8 and 9 near Kembangan.
Three people taken to hospital
Responding to queries from Mothership, the police said that they were alerted to a hit-and-run involving two cars along PIE towards Tuas at around 7:51pm on July 6.
A 34-year-old male driver was conscious when taken to Changi General Hospital.
Two passengers from the same car, a 27-year-old woman and a one-year-old boy, were also conscious when conveyed to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
