If there's one group of constituents that have really been feeling the brunt of snaking queues at polling centres, it's the elderly.

Thankfully, one resident who stays near the CHIJ Lady of Good Counsel Polling Station has decided to offer some help.

A post on Facebook showed images of a kind uncle who had set up a little refreshment bar for older voters who were queuing.

The images appear to be taken outside his house.

Among the drinks provided was bottled water, packet drinks, and canned drinks. They were accompanied by a sign that read "Please help yourselves!"

There was even an offer for voters to use the bathroom, should they need it.

"That's the kampong spirit!"

Deservedly, commenters on Facebook hailed the man for his kindness and generosity.

Good stuff.
