Mahathir Mohamad, former prime minister of Malaysia, celebrates his birthday on July 10. He is 95 years old.

Mahathir served as prime minister twice, his first term as a member of UMNO and Barisan Nasional from 1981 to 2003, and his second term as a member of Bersatu and Pakaran Harapan from 2018 to 2020.

He holds the distinction of being Malaysia's fourth and seventh prime minister.

He first became prime minister at 56.

He became prime minister again at 92.

His daughter, Marina Mahathir, shared a Facebook post with a few photos of a smiling Mahathir:

"How is this guy 95??

Happiest birthday Daddy! May you continue to enjoy the good health, energy, wit and charm of a 65 year old, InsyaAllah..!"

It remains to be seen if Mahathir and his allies have enough seats in the Dewan Rakyat to gain the majority and return to power.
