The brand, popular for their Maine-style lobster rolls, will see its first local outlet at Shaw House.

Smaller sized rolls are served with about 113g of chilled, wild-caught lobster in a toasted, buttered bun, complemented with mayo, lemon butter, and in-house seasoning.

Crab and shrimp versions are also available.

On its menu, a lobster roll and chips costs USD17 (S$23.72).

A crab roll of the same size retails for USD14 (S$19.53).

Other sets come with coleslaw or chowder and a drink.

Although the brand originates from New York, Singaporeans might be more familiar with their Japanese branches — particularly the Omotesando outlet, which is a queue magnet.

According to ST, Luke's Lobster is being brought in by lifestyle company Caerus Holding, who also brought in Lady M.

Chief Executive Officer Vijay Pillai says that the circuit breaker period has delayed the company's plans, which they will now proceed quickly.

Renovations have not been approved, though.

Prices are currently not fixed, but Vijay is quoted as saying that it will remain affordable for its quality.
