Safe distancing measures

An 8 World video shows the queue extending to the opposite block, even after the crowd had waned at 9am.

Safe distancing measures contributed to the queue's length, however.

In addition to the queue management barrier outside the temple, its interior hall had also adopted a similar measure.

Visitors are required to scan the safe entry code and have their temperature taken.

50 people are allowed in the temple at any one time.

While some got in after 20 minutes, others experienced a wait of up to 40 minutes, 8 World reported.

A handful of devotees were filmed praying outside the temple's premises.

Opening dates

The temple will be open on the following dates:

  • July 27 - July 30  (Monday - Thursday)
  • August 3 - August 6 (Monday - Thursday)
  • August 7 to August 9 (Friday - Sunday)

From August 7 to 9, visitors will need to apply for admission tickets for the purposes of crowd control and safe distancing.
