The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 399 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of July 21, 12pm.

The vast majority are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

Nine of the new cases are cases in the community. Of these, one is a Singaporean while eight are Work Pass holders.

In addition, there are three imported cases who had been on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arriving in Singapore.

More details will be provided in the evening update.

The higher number of cases today is mainly due to a batch of test results from the previous day reported to MOH after the 12pm cut-off for yesterday’s reporting.
