248 new Covid-19 cases in S'pore on Jul. 16, 11 cases in the community

47,126 cases in total.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 248 cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore, as of July 16.

This brings the total number of cases up to 47,126.

The vast majority are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

11 are the cases in the community. Of these, two are Singaporeans/Permanent Residents.

Seven are Work Pass holders and two are Dependant's Pass holders.

There are also four new imported cases who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arriving Singapore.

Further updates will be shared by MOH in the evening.
