Goh Chok Tong is now on Instagram

The younger volunteers asked him to set up an account.

Goh Chok Tong, also known as MParader on Facebook, is now officially on Instagram as @mparader_

In his very first Instagram post, the 79-year-old retiree said that younger volunteers told him that he should set up an account.

So that's what he did.

Here's his first post from two days ago on July 12, where he uploaded a boomerang of him making a lightning-shaped sign with his fingers.

In the caption, he congratulated the People's Action Party's Marine Parade GRC team regarding their electoral victory.

He also tagged those who were on Instagram, namely Edwin Tong, Seah Kian Peng, Fahmi Aliman and Tan Chuan-Jin.

Previously, Goh had expressed his support for the Marine Parade team, adding that he has found a "good successor" in Tan See Leng.

In his second post, Goh wrote about how the GE2020 outcome is "good for Singapore", saying that he congratulates all candidates for a "well-fought election".
