Disney's highly-anticipated "Mulan'" has been taken off the calendar, CNN reported.
Disney's schedule affected
The blockbuster was originally set to open in March, and was postponed to July, then August, before its current status of being indefinitely postponed.
The decision stems from the worsening Covid-19 situation in the U.S, which has led to theatre closures and halt in productions.
"Mulan" is not the only filming Disney is delaying, either — major titles such as the Avatar and Star Wars instalments are also affected.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Avatar 2" has been postponed one year to Dec. 2022, with subsequent instalments being pushed out one year later than intended as well.

The next "Star Wars" film is only set to screen in Dec. 2023, instead of Dec. 2022.
A Disney spokesperson said in a statement,
"Over the last few months, it’s become clear that nothing can be set in stone when it comes to how we release films during this global health crisis, and today that means pausing our release plans for ‘Mulan’ as we assess how we can most effectively bring this film to audiences around the world."
New date for "Tenet" to be revealed
The news comes a few days after Warner Bros. announced that it would delaying the release of "Tenet" indefinitely, Variety added.
It was originally set for Aug. 2020, after being delayed twice.
The new thriller by Christopher Nolan, who also directed "Inception" and The Dark Knight trilogy, involves the themes of time and espionage.
Variety predicted that Warner Bros. might release “Tenet” overseas before opening it in the U.S, in what they called a "surprise move."
Warner Bros. chairman Toby Emmerich said that the company will share a new 2020 release date for the movie:
“Our goals throughout this process have been to ensure the highest odds of success for our films while also being ready to support our theater partners with new content as soon as they could safely reopen.”
At time of writing, both "Mulan" and "Tenet" are listing as "Coming Soon" on Golden Village's website.
