334 new Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 2 are S'porean/PR

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 334 cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore, as of July 29.

This brings the total number of cases up to 51,531.

The vast majority are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

Of the 334, three are cases detected in the community. Of these, two are Singaporeans/Permanent Residents. One is a Work Pass holder.

There are also four new imported cases who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arriving in Singapore.

Further updates will be shared by MOH in the evening.
